Are You Expecting? 7 Skin Care Tips Every Mom-To-Be Should Follow

Pregnant Skin Care

Pregnancy is known to bring natural glow and shine to your face but with all the hormonal changes taking place in your body, why take a risk of any sort. Following a beauty regime would ensure that you have a good skin during and post pregnancy. With these helpful tips, you can now make sure that your skin maintains its glow no matter what havoc the hormones in your body go through during those nine months.

1. Drink plenty of water

Water is essential for a healthy pregnancy for maintaining the right amount of amniotic fluid and getting rid of the excess toxins from the body. There will be times when you might not feel like drinking water but for your health and skin, it is important that you drink at least 2 liters of water every day.

2. Get ample sleep

Dark circles never look good on the face no matter how youthful the skin is. The same rule is applicable during pregnancy. Getting a minimum of 8 hours of sleep during these nine months would ensure that your body is getting its due rest and you do not end up with huge dark circles to ruin your pregnancy glow.

3. Maintain a healthy diet

Cravings would come crawling at awkward times but with you resolving to eat nothing but a balanced diet, you would succeed in keeping them at bay. Try to eat healthy nutritious diet, which would keep the skin fresh and healthy. Maintaining the elasticity of the skin during these 9 months will prevent the stretch marks too.

4. Develop a beauty regime

As lazy as you might feel with that growing baby bump, following a beauty regime is very important during these months. Make sure you properly moisturize and exfoliate your skin on daily basis to keep off the dirt and pollutants. Invest in some good quality beauty products to maximize the results.

5. Stay relaxed

Stress during any time of your life is not good for your health and skin. Following the same rule of thumb during pregnancy, make sure you indulge in activities that relax and distress you. Light yoga and meditation would not only keep you physically active but would also ensure that your skin stays fresh during these nine months.

6. Stay off harmful chemicals

Using soaps and products made from harsh strong chemicals can remove the natural oil of the skin to leave behind an overly dry skin. It will cause wrinkling and acne problems in the coming days. Try to use products made from mild chemicals and are safe for the skin and fetus too.

7. Stay protected from the sun

Like all the normal times, you need to stay covered when under the sun during these nine months too. Apply a good sunscreen lotion and wear a hat when going out to prevent pigmentation and wrinkles.

Pregnancy is one of those times when little effort on your part can produce amazing results. You are going through a challenging, yet beautiful experience. Follow our above-mentioned tips during these months and you'll be sure to keep your most beautiful side out.

Summer Skincare Solutions – How To Keep Your Skin Looking Fresh As A Flower

Summer Skin Care

Cellulite, wrinkles, and loss of motivation are not the only enemies of your most productive years of life. Adult acne is another agent adding to the frustration.

The stubborn adult acne is harder to get rid of than teenage acne. The hormonal influx, changes in diet patterns, stress of work and financial management, career growth, insomnia, and more could lead to adult acne.

The Basics of Adults Acne

It is important to understand the root cause of any problem before resolving it. So here we go - hang with us or (if you are kind of impatient like me) just skip to the end for the solution.

The Hormonal Influx

According to a research posted in Huffington Post, three types of hormones play a key role in causing adult acne. These hormones are triggered by various situations. Neropinephrine, a hormone released from brain and adrenal glands, makes the person more responsive, alert, and active in a stressful situation. Adrenaline, the hormone released from adrenal glands, tightens the muscles and makes the brain active in a stressful situation. Cortisol, produced by adrenal glands, is also known as a stress hormone. It is essential to maintain healthy reproductive system and blood pressure. However, when it receives signals of a stressful situation, it suppresses the immune system, increases heart rate, and increases blood sugar level and blood pressure.

Clogged Pores

Environmental bacteria, chemicals, and pollution clog the pores of your skin. It blocks individual cell oxygenation and restricts the dead oils to stay in the cells, causing breakouts.

Unhealthy Metabolism

You may be losing your nighttime sleep due to certain reasons like job restrictions, hormonal influx, stressful lifestyle, and more. You may be craving more for fatty foods than healthy ones. Sleep, food, and exercise are the key players in healthy maintenance of metabolism.

Wrong Products and Friction

Do you rub your skin aggressively? Do you cleanse and exfoliate twice a day? Do you feel irritation or redness after applying the products on your skin? Aggressive skin treatment and wrong products cause skin friction and irritation, leading to unnatural response by the skin. Excessive and aggressive exfoliation removes the essential oils from skin and damages collagen, causing acne.

The Routine Solutions for Controlling Adult Acne

The multiplication of bacteria, outburst of clogged pores, and disturbed hormones can be controlled with a few routine chores.

Hydration and Skin Detoxification

You have exposed your skin to acne covering products and toxic pills including birth control pills and accutane, causing more harm than good. Hydration promotes skin moisture, cleaning, hormone regulation, control blood pressure, improve cognitive performance to stressful situations, and decrease excess oil in the skin. It is also important for effective nutrient distribution among skin cells. Hydration and water are not miracle treatments for acne but they can help control it in various ways.

Water itself promotes skin detoxification. It cleanses the skin and removes harmful toxins and chemical compounds from skin cells naturally. However, you can also control acne by drinking cucumber detox water. Stop using any skin care products except the ones that help retain water in your skin cells to improve its moisture. Priyana VersaCleanse is highly useful in this regard.

Priyana VersaCleanse is a brightening foaming cleanser with effective vitamins and ingredients that help retain water in the cells, remove excessive oils, remove grime, and make the skin brighter and more youthful. The complex of 2% Salicylic Acid makes it equally suitable for controlling teenage and adult acne. The VersaCleanse has ingredients like Green Tea, vitamin B5, aloe vera, and BHA and AHA acids to naturally fight acne, improve collagen production and cell turnover, and make the skin more radiant. Remember that a radiant skin reflects removal of dead skin cells and clearer and reduced pores.

Release and Cleanse

The adult acne is also known as P. acne. P. acne refers to the bacterium that causes adult acne. This bacterium adores moist environments to flourish and grow. Exercise is one of the best ways to release excess oils and toxins from your skin. However, exercise may lead to P. acne due to improper care.

The bacterium produces in moist environment. However, it is unsuitable for your muscles to take a bath immediately after the exercise. Therefore, many people rub the sweat off with non-breathable clothes. The friction produced by these non-breathable clothes stimulates the production of excess oil, which mixes with environmental toxins to clog pores. Here is your routine for healthy workout routine.

  1. Finish your exercise routine regularly.

  2. Wipe the sweat with cloth made of natural and breathable fibers.

  3. Now use Priyana VersaCleanse to cleanse the pores. The AHA and BHA acids in VersaCleanse with kill the bacterium and release excess oil from the pores.

  4. After around 15 minutes, take a warm water shower. Again, wipe your body with natural fiber. Wear breathable clothes after exercise.

Get Healthy Sleep

Healthy sleep regulates metabolism, regulates hormones, improves functions, release toxins, and relaxes your muscles. For people with adult acne, a healthy sleep also constitutes collagen production, improvement in skin elasticity, reduced pores, reduced wrinkles, and reduced inflammation. Retinol and Hyaluronic Acid are key ingredients in securing moisture and improving tissue repair and collagen production. Retinol, considered a harsh ingredient, may sometimes cause irritation and redness on the skin. The human body carries 15 grams of Hyaluronic Acid. The body degrades or reproduces only 1/3rd of this amount. This is why, it is difficult to naturally treat or recover adult acne, as compared to acne in young age.

An application of Hyaluronic Acid product at nighttime can help boost skin repair and collagen production. Priyana HylaSilk contains Vitamin B3 and Hyaluronic Acid. Vitamin B3, a natural B-complex, reduces excess oil production in the skin and kills P. bacterium. The Hyaluronic Acid in HylaSilk hydrates the skin cells and secures moisture in them. It also reduces inflammation, redness, and pore size, hence leading to natural tissue repair, cell proliferation, and improved elasticity. It is also useful for release of toxins, nutrient retention, and reduction in wrinkles. HylaSilk is equally useful for daytime application. Applied twice a day, it can bring in visible improvement in adult acne control and making your skin youthful and healthy.

Water Retention and Protection against Harmful Rays

Do you feel that a protective layer has emerged on your skin when you wear sunscreen? Do you feel that the layer can work as a barrier against harmful rays and environmental toxins? Well, the layer may penetrate into your skin cells, clog the pores, and cause acne. This happens mostly with greasy sunscreens. When your skin sweats, the environmental toxins, pollutants and harmful bacteria settle on the skin. They enter the skin along with sunscreen droplets and start rupturing the skin layers. The first thing they do is releasing water and moisture from the skin and stimulating the production of excess oils.

People with adult acne can control the effect of harmful sunrays, environmental toxins and bacteria by boosting the self-defense strength of the skin and improving collagen and tissue production. Peptides are essential ingredients for improving tissue production and closing the skin pores. Vitamin C and citric acid are widely known ingredients for improving skin immunity. Considering the effectiveness of these ingredients against sun and pollution damage, Priyana Damage Control contains a complex of Vitamin C, peptides and DNA repair ingredients. It also contains Hyaluronic Acid to moisture the skin and secure moisture. The Vitamin B-complex reduces redness and inflammation and antioxidants help fight the pollutants, environmental chemicals, and bacteria.

People with adult acne also need to improve their diet. Foods rich in iron, vitamin, and antioxidants are effective in controlling adult acne. The right combination of healthy sleep, appropriate skin care products, and nutrient rich food can help you get rid of adult acne.

What Causes Dry Skin & How Can You Bring Back Its Moisture?

What Causes Dry Skin?

While oily skin is difficult to manage, dry skin is a cause of many skin related problems and diseases.

The short-term consequences include problems like Rosacea, acne, and itchy skin. In long-term, the skin loses its moisture and shrinks at an early age, causing wrinkles, crowfeet and fine lines.

The Moisture Content in Normal Skin

Normal skin is soft and composed. Dry skin peels easily. The normal skin has at least 10% moisture or water. It is required to keep the cells packed and make the skin look softer, shinier, and smooth. Moisture is also required for uninterrupted transportation of nutrients in the skin, cleansing the toxins, and skin protection against harmful rays. Ideally, the upper layer of skin should have 25–35% of moisture/water content.

What is Sebum?

The sebaceous glands release an oily solution called sebum. It is required to retain water in the cells. A complex mixture of waxes, natural chemicals, sugars, and carbohydrates, it reduces water evaporation from the skin. However, the bacterial action on sebum breaks down the components and makes it smelly.

  • If weather and environmental factors increase water evaporation from the skin, the sebaceous glands may not produce enough sebum to retain water. This may lead to cracks in the skin.

  • Sebum production increases when people do not drink enough water. This natural process stimulates to retain the water present in the cells. However, P. bacterium grows on the moist skin. Too much sebum production may lead to oily skin, providing an environment for the P. bacterium. These bacteria colonies cause skin problems like clogged pores, irritation, redness, acne, and psoriasis.

Sweat is composed of toxins, waste products, salts, and water, whereas sebum is protective oil. The best way to control sebum production and retain water in the skin is to drink at least three liters of water a day.

Symptoms of Dry Skin
  • Itching

  • Scaling

  • Redness

  • Flaking

  • Patching

Causes of Dry Skin

A number of reasons may cause dry skin. Sometimes, even the oily skin may become dry. Some of the causes include the following.

Sun Exposure: The ultraviolet rays of sun penetrate into deeper layers of the skin. Sun exposure evaporates the water of skin and leads to dry skin. The deepest layers of skin suffer maximum damage due to sunrays.

Extreme Temperature: Using very cold or hot water, bathing with or swimming in very cold or hot water, laser treatments, exposure to fireplaces, air conditioner on very low temperature, and any other kind of exposure to extreme temperature may cause skin shrinking and loss of moisture from the skin.

Use of Harsh Chemicals: Skin bleaching agents, exposure to phthalates, and other harmful chemicals may also cause skin dehydration and dryness.

Non-breathable Clothes: The air can easily pass through natural fiber clothes and keep your skin oxygenated and moisturized. In contrast, the non-breathable clothes not only cause skin irritation and direct exposure to bacteria but they also cause skin dehydration.

Hot Drinks: The effect of hot drinks for skin dehydration is conflicted. However, a scientifically proven fact is that many ingredients in hot drinks like caffeine increase the activity of kidneys, which leads to increased urination. This leads to loss of moisture from the body. Hot drinks also increase sodium absorption, and may make you tired and exhausted after some time.

Menthol, Camphor, Phenol, and Lead: Lip balms, chap sticks, lipsticks, and other skin care products contain ingredients like Menthol, Camphor, and Lead. These ingredients dry out the skin. Phenol is often used in hand sanitizers, body lotions, and body baths. Fragranced soap bombs, shampoos, and other cosmetics also contain these harsh chemicals.

Smoking: Smoking has been closely associated with poor oxygen supply. Oxygen is required to retain water in the skin.

Medicines: Some medicines like anti-allergic pills, antibiotic treatments, antihistamines, and chemo drugs do not trigger dry skin but these medicines may aggravate the existing dry skin. Proper dermatological assessment is necessary before initiating the treatments related to these medicines.

Cleansing Wipes: It could be surprising for some people. Cleansing wipes may contain harsh chemicals, antibacterial ingredients, and alcohol. These ingredients may suck out the moisture of skin along with the toxins. Simple tissues are better than the cleansing wipes.

Aging: The strength of skin to retain water reduces with age.

How to Bring Back the Moisture of Skin

The first and most important step is to avoid all the causes of skin dehydration. Drink adequate water to avoid excessive sebum production. If you need to initiate a medical treatment then make sure to discuss it with a doctor. Avoid smoking and heavy chemicals.

The use of moisturizing creams is important. These creams are made with lipids, proteins, and water. The moisturizing creams supply the essential hydrating ingredients to the skin and improve its water retention.

However, too much moisturizing can also lead to dry skin. Transepidermal water loss is the measurement of loss of water. The dryness of skin is proportional to the amount of Transepidermal water loss. The excessive use of moisturizing creams makes the skin dependant on the creams. It reduces the skin’s natural ability to retain water, hence leading to increased transepidermal water loss.

The Right Way to Hydrate Your Skin

The best way to hydrate your skin and make it smooth and soft is to drink adequate water and use a moisturizing cream. The cream you use should supply essential nutrients along with increasing the skin’s natural ability to retain water. Priyana Damage Control is an enriching and moisturizing cream that contains the essential ingredients, Vitamin C, Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin B-complex, and more. You can also use Priyana HylaSilk to improve collagen production, natural tissue filling, and improving water retention in the skin.

Fruits rich in antioxidants, Vitamin C drinks, and proper skin care from the sunrays is also important. Priyana Damage Control helps treat the damages caused by the sun, if applied once before going to the bed and once during the daytime. Proper cleansing of the skin also regulates sebum production.

By using these tips and avoiding the causes of dry skin, you can improve the health of your skin visibly, and within days.

We've been successfully using it for a couple of years now, but only for licensed dermatologists and estheticians. It's been exciting to see regular women embrace the product and get such great results. We see VersaPeel as a game-changer for women who want better skin.

After years of research and physician testing, this amazing skincare product is designed to give women more radiant, youthful skin in just 2- 5 minutes a day!

SARAH MCHUGH'S MAKEOVER IN MINUTES

From the moment I wake up until the kids go to bed, it's go, go, go. What I love about VersaPeel is that it literally works while I brush my teeth.

Day 1:

From the moment I started using it, I saw a difference. I was really surprised that even after my first application my skin felt noticeably softer and smoother.

I've got pretty sensitive skin so, I applied and leave on for just 2 minutes - after I rinsed off I saw and felt better skin.

Day 5:

After just five days of using VersaPeel, I saw incredible results.

It's like a 'non-peel' skin peel!

The lines near my eyes, dark spots and blemishes were visibly reduced. My skin felt so clean, smooth and I even felt younger and more energetic!

Day 14:

Wow! I've tried a lot of different products in the past and I was surprised by how good I looked after just a couple of weeks of using VersaPeel.

My family life hasn't changed and I'm still as busy as ever, but I look more rested and the lines and blemishes and redness have gone away.

I have never used a product that has left my skin feeling so good. People have asked me where I am going for treatments and the look on their face is priceless when I tell them "I've got a makeover in a bottle that takes 2 minutes while I brush my teeth at night!"

The Skinny on Chemical Peels

Chemical Peel

As life happens and with of our busy routines, we are often not able to take care of our skin the way we should. It leads to accelerated-aging along with various other skin issues.

Chemical peels can help turn back the clock to give us another chance to take care of our skin that would leave them young and glow for years to come.

How exactly do chemical peels affect the skin?

Over the course of years, undue exposure to sun, pollution, and stress can have a huge impact on our skin. They leave our skin damaged, wrinkled and dull with no glow to it whatsoever. The acidic solution used in the chemical peels helps dissolve the topmost layer of the skin to reveal the healthier skin below.

For the time the peel is working on the skin, you might feel a bit of stinging and burning which is completely normal. Over the next few days, the skin peels and scales off to reveal the healthier baby layer underneath.

Depending on the condition of the skin, the health care providers can go for medium or deep chemical peels to bring out the maximum effect.

The deep peel, sometimes performed under anesthesia if need be, takes off several layers of the skin that address issues of wrinkles, scars and uneven skin tones.

Medium peels, on the other hand, take off a couple of layers and are a bit milder than the deep versions. They are safe for the neck, hands, and other areas of the skin.

While you can only have one deep peel in your life, you can have multiple medium peels as long as your doctor agrees to it.

What to expect after chemical peels?

Since the top layers are scaling, the skin would be oversensitive and prone to infections. Depending on the type of peel you have gone after, the doctor will require you to take certain precautions for safety purposes.·

After a medium peel, you will notice mild redness and swelling which will subside after a week. A deep peel will require bandaging and can take over three weeks to heal.

It is advised to stay indoors and away from sunlight during this healing period.· The face is soaked in water a couple of times during the day and has to stay covered with ointments to prevent scarring and scabbing.· Medication is prescribed to prevent infections from causing harm to the skin.

These peels are made from chemicals that hydrate and repair the skin. They help improve cell growth and bring back the natural youth.

Although a treatment will take no longer than 20 minutes, you always have the option of using the milder versions of these acidic peels, some of which are available online.

We recently interviewed Melissa Crane from PriyanamD, who filled us in on their exciting new product called VersaPeel.

VersaPeel is a natural, effective super-exfoliant which provides the look and feel of a mild skin peel. Her product helps treat the skin with these acids on daily basis and helps women get a younger looking skin from the comfort of their home, with no-downtime.

Try These Easy Skin Care Tips That Dermatologists Follow

TOP SKIN CARE TIPS DERMATOLOGISTS FOLLOW

You wouldn’t trust a fitness instructor who was out of shape, would you?

When it comes to glowing and healthy skin, we thought it would be a good thing to take and follow the advice of the ones who have dedicated their lives to the workings of our skin and its complexities.

After all, dermatologists spend their entire work days analyzing skin and recommending products and treatments to others. They not only have the knowledge but the experience needed to give us the tips for effective skin care.

But, have you ever wondered which tips do the dermatologists follow themselves to get that flawless look despite their busy routines? We talked to some of the experts in the field and conjured up these top skin care tips just for you.

WARNING: These tips are so simple and easy to implement, that you might be shocked!

Stay protected

While they always seem to be insisting us, dermatologists themselves are very particular about staying protected from the sun. The harmful UV rays can squeeze the life out of our skin and this can leave us with dull wrinkled skin, toned unevenly. Using a sunscreen lotion with SPF value above 30 means that we have a protective layer on top of our skin when we go out.

A healthy breakfast

For nourishment, our skin needs a good amount of fatty acids and vitamins on daily basis. A healthy heart breakfast can keep it stocked up on all these nutrients for the whole day ahead.

Avoid stress

Stress can add years to your skin and cause wrinkles and skin problems. Following a routine which gives you enough time to distress your skin, even if is once a week, can do wonders for you. If you are going through a rough phase, it will help to indulge in some relaxing massages or yoga to take the edge off your skin.

Frozen vegetables for the eyes

As incredible as it may sound, a few frozen packs of vegetables like peas, corns, and some other small vegetables can do wonders for your skin especially the tired eyes at the end of the day. Make it a bedtime routine to place these packs on your face and eyelids every day. It will relax the top most layer and help prevent dark circles from appearing.Skip sodium and excess sugar

OK, we know you don’t want to hear this (we didn’t!), but we are supposed to avoid sugars at all costs, as it can break the collagen in the skin needed for firm elastic skin. And no, forget about Coke Zero too...while you are consuming diet soda to avoid all the sugars, you are in fact stocking your body with undue sodium, which leaves the eyes and jaws puffy.

So while that may sound a bit sucky, there are some options to stay hydrated...

Include green tea in your diet

We all are aware of the benefits of green tea with respect to weight loss, but little do we know that it contains many protective nutrients needed for keeping our skin healthy. Consume at least three to five cups a day for healthy skin.

You can mix it with Vodka too.

Well, OK, we just added that part 😉

Drink plenty of water

Water not only is needed for healthy skin but also to prevent skin breakouts and wrinkles. Stay hydrated all day long and feel a refreshing change in your skin within days.

These are just some of the many tips, which can help you get the skin you have always wanted.

Skin Care for Beautiful Women

7 Simple Steps Simple Skin Care Tips For Women With Oily Skin

Combat oily skin

The most difficult of all skin conditions is oily skin. Every woman who deals with oily skin knows this!

According to skin expert and licensed esthetician Melissa Crane, unfortunately many women over-treat their oily skin, either ending up with wrong skin products or totally quitting skin treatments.

"The natural skin healing process slows down as you age. Above all, some natural repair ingredients in human body like Hyaluronic Acid do not reproduce 100%. Hyaluronic Acid is an essential ingredient for securing moisture in the skin and controlling the skin balance." She says

The truth is that the condition and treatment of your skin depends on your food, lifestyle, and everything around. Here are 7 Simple Steps to help you enjoy more healthy, glowing, and oil-free skin.

1. Wash Your Face The Right Way. When you wash your face repeatedly throughout the day to avoid excess oil on your face, the chemicals in face wash suck out essential oils and strip your skin. This leads to extra oil production by sebaceous glands in skin. Ultimately, the more you wash your oily skin, the more your skin releases excess oils.

"So what is the right way?" we asked Melissa.

Wash oily skin only two times a day, including once in the morning and once before going to the bed. Squeeze out skin wash on your fingertips and gently mix it with water to make foam. Gently rub this form on your skin in circular motion using fingertips only. Make sure to avoid the contact of your nails with the skin. Also, wash with lukewarm water or cold water.

2. Don’t over-medicate your skin. Don’t use combinations of multiple skin treatments. Stick with one that works. Find one that repairs, moisturizes and minimizes pores.

"We believe in keeping it simple", Melissa Said. Her products are paraben-free

3. Get into a consistent exfoliation routine. Be careful not to exfoliate your skin too often. 2-3 times per week is fine for most women. Use exfoliating solutions with thin particles. Mix them
with water to make a thin solution.

When you do exfoliating correctly, it helps by clearing out dead skin cells that clog pores or rid acne by. But when you’re overdoing it, you’re also getting rid of all those healthy skin cells, which protect your skin’s natural barrier

4. Avoid fatty or oily foods. Eat foods rich in water like raw green vegetables and
fruits.

"This can be easier said than done, I know", laughs Melissa. Most women know when they've gone too far with unhealthy food. But when you are making a conscious effort to monitor your food intake and eat healthy, it makes a big difference and it shows in your skin

5. Don’t skip drinking adequate water. Water is your body's principal chemical component and makes up about 60 percent of your body weight. It is essential to life and crucial for retaining healthy skin.

"The 8x8 rule works well", say Melissa Crane. Drink eight 8-ounce glasses of water a day. This is close to the Institute of Medicine recommendations for women of about 9 cups (2.2 liters) of total beverages a day.

6. Do not skip washing your hair. We all know what happens when you don’t wash your face—and the same goes for your head and scalp.

Think about the products that you apply, like oils and volumizers - they need to be removed or else they can block hair follicles and lead to inflammation.

That along with dead skin on your scalp is a good reason to you should wash your hair at least alternate days, or three times a week. Tie your hair to avoid their contact with skin if your hair is not washed.

7. Change your bed sheets and pillows often. A dirty pillow may expose your skin to skin
damaging bacteria. An article in The Huffington Post described that when your pillowcase isn’t laundered or changed regularly, a build-up of dirt and oil from the environment as well as your skin and hair touching the pillow is transferred back to your skin. This can clog pores and cause blemishes.

What it all comes down to....

"Women today, we live hectic lives. Busy Moms, working women on-the-go, careers, family friends and, oh yeah...should we take care of ourselves too?!"

It all boils down to routine.

Cleanse Regularly with the Right Products

A daily cleansing routine is essential. Follow the given steps to avail all benefits of cleansing.

  1. Wash the skin with a good hydrant.
  2. Apply cleanser on the fingertips and a little on the skin.
  3. Rub cleanser gently in circular motions in clockwise directions.
  4. Leave the cleanser on skin for a few minutes.
  5. Now, use a natural fiber cloth to remove cleanser from skin.

People with acne prone or oily skin may choose medicated makeup products. You should also provide a nice coverage to your skin before applying makeup. As mentioned earlier, makeup may interfere with skin’s natural repair and oil production process.

PriyanaMD’s HylaSilk is a moisturizing serum that is also a skin primer. Rich in Vitamin B3, antioxidants, and Hyaluronic Acid, it repairs the skin underneath and gives you runway looks. HylaSilk is the GO TO moisturizer for aesthetic patients with oily skin. HylaSilk will help to balance the oil production, reduce skin shine, minimize pores and hydrated the skin. It also lightens scars If you suffer from acne marks.

Proper skin care, for oily skin, is critical. We also recommend incorporating a good cleanser with Glycolic and Salicylic Acid such as VersaCleanse. Apply HylaSilk twice daily to minimize pores, control skin shine and balance the oil products.

By incorporating these ingredients you will be on your way to improved skin health and oil-free skin.
